Public School and Junior College Construction and Inspections Section

Note: For fire-related school projects: All fire-related projects shall fall under the purview and requirements of this program.

• This includes fire suppression (sprinklers), fire alarms, hood suppression systems, and special fire suppression sytems (e.g. spark arrestors) to be installed in public schools or junior college facilties.

Inspection Requests

PLEASE ALLOW UP TO ONE WEEK FROM TIME OF REQUEST FOR INSPECTION TO BE PERFORMED. To request an inspection for a construction project, please complete the Inspection Request Form
and select the "submit" button on the form. If you have any questions, please call 303-239-4600 or send an email to DFS-inspections@cdps.state.co.us.

• The person requesting the inspection will be contacted two days before the inspection.
